Flight Inspection

GAT has Flight Inspection System (FIS) Solutions that can be integrated into multiple platforms both jet & turboprop. The radio navigation systems can inspect advanced automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) and area navigation (RNAV) procedures The installation consists of multiple antennas, flight inspection operator console, optional Observer Console with power and ethernet connections, laser altimeter, inertial reference system (IRS) and course direction indictor (CDI) to meet the defined tasks. The system can be interfaced to the aircraft autopilot which can minimize the cockpit workload. The installed system is modular in design and has interconnect panels for ease of removal, Installation, and maintenance.

GAT provides a three (3) week comprehensive FIS training course during the installation of the FIS on the aircraft. The training courses will teach the FIS operators and maintenance engineers to operate and maintain the system.

The course will provide training in the theory of operation of the system, practical operation of the airborne and ground equipment, operation of the system using the system software, using the software to display and analyze navigation and landing aid performance, use of the simulator software, system calibration, routine and corrective maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
