Wichita, KS (September 28, 2021) – Global Aviation Technologies (GAT) today announced the first successful modification of the Air Ambulance upgrade on the Textron Premier aircraft.
The upgrade installed the Spectrum Aeromed 2200 Series Advanced Life Support System. Minor modifications are required to the R/H Forward cabinet to facilitate installation of the Life Support
System Electrical box. This installation also installed (4) additional O2 bottles in the Aft baggage compartment. GAT Engineering designed and fabricated the Life Support System adapter which was required due to the unique attachment fittings for the cabin seats.
“The team did a superb job in overcoming design challenges during the installation process,” said Woody Cottner, vice-president of business development at GAT. This upgrade opens up the Textron Premier aircraft to additional capabilities. Modified aircraft will be used for patient transfer and organ transport.
