Global Aviation Technologies (GAT) maintenance technicians completed an Air Ambulance Modification on the Learjet 60XR aircraft.
The installation was accomplished per Spectrum Aeromed AML STC SA01213CH. GAT Engineering created the required deviation drawings to the STC. Those deviations included interior close out panel fabrication, changes in the plug disconnect location, as well as modifications to the Current Limiter panel.
All Type Design data was FAA DER approved in support of the major alteration. GAT QA worked with the FAA DAR to facilitate exporting the aircraft to Argentina. The maintenance event was completed on time and within budget without delays for delivery to Argentina.
