Global Aviation Tech LLC Welcomes Shellie Lewis as Vice President of New Business Development
Wichita, KS — Global Aviation Tech LLC (GATECH) is proud to announce the addition of Shellie Lewis as the company’s Vice President of New Business Development. With an aviation career spanning over 35 years, Lewis brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will further strengthen GATECH’s position as a full-service Part 145 MRO.
Lewis began his aviation journey with the United States Navy, serving 4 years on active duty. After his military service, he spent 26 years at Gulfstream Aerospace, holding key roles such as Mechanic, Senior Mechanic, Senior Airworthiness Inspector, Site Lead, and Quality Supervisor. His career continued to flourish at Leucadia Aviation, where he served as Director of Maintenance, overseeing essential maintenance operations and ensuring strict regulatory compliance. Most recently, Lewis has held leadership positions including Chief Inspector, Director of Maintenance, and Vice President of Technical Services at various organizations.
In his new role at GATECH, Lewis will lead the company’s expansion into Gulfstream airframe services, while continuing to enhance capabilities across all business aviation aircraft. His deep understanding of aircraft maintenance, quality control, and operational leadership will be instrumental in aligning sales and operations, ensuring GATECH delivers top-tier service and communication at every stage of aircraft maintenance and upgrades.
