Global Aviation Technologies has successfully completed red label flight testing with Universal Avionics ClearVision™ Enhanced Flight Vision System, and is preparing to be certified with a single pilot solution. Easily adaptable to multiple aircraft platforms, this ClearVision solution offers a unique option for operators.

ClearVision is a complete Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) solution providing head-up capability combined with enhanced vision (EVS) and synthetic 3D terrain display (SVS). It features a large field-of-view, with the brightest and highest resolution HUD for commercial aircraft in the market. Its unique pilot-friendly split screen display allows the user to change between the two background imagery areas for optimal control. With the ClearVision system, overcome extreme weather conditions and low visibility conditions – both day and night. Intuitive out-of-the-window flying is now possible. ClearVision is cost effective and easy-to-install compared to conventional HUD Systems, and provides enhanced situational awareness allowing the crew to keep their heads up during piloting activities.

Global Aviation Technologies and Universal Avionics representatives will have the completed King Air B200 with equipment installed on static display at the North America Aerial Firefighting Conference located in Seattle, Washington on April 3-4, 2023.  For additional details, please contact Global Aviation Technologies Business Development: 316-425-0999.

Technicians noted this system was easily configured and they were amazed at the data transferred to the pilot in real time. Here at GAT, we are excited to bring the ClearVision system to the King Air product line.”

– Ian McNulty, Director of Maintenance – Global Aviation Technologies

“As the most successful airplane built in its category, the B200 is being used by a variety of customers, many operating mission-related flights. Market feedback shows that they are eager to receive such a game-changing technology that will support their mission and enhance safety at night, and in low visibility conditions. We are proud of GAT and their successful platform integration and look forward to receiving the final certification.”
